Great Wine, It’s a Shore Thing

COVID-19 Update – November 16, 2020

Additional protocols have been added due to a surge in cases of the Corona virus.  Beginning on Wednesday November 18 indoor tastings will be suspended until December 8, at the earliest.   All other protocols remain in place.

*Wear a mask that covers the nose and mouth

*Wine tastings will be outdoors only

*Be socially distanced of 6ft apart or more

*wash hands frequently or use hand sanitizer

Wines may still be purchased in person, curbside pick up or online for shipping.

We strive to keep everyone safe and the member wineries are working together to adapt to these changes and to ensure they are able to continue to serve you, the valued wine lovers.  More information will be provided as it becomes available.  Tune in on Wednesday – November 18 at 4pm ET on FB Live to learn of any modifications to the most current protocols from the MHHS, CDC and the Governor’s office.

We will also discuss wine options to serve during your holiday dinners.

COVID UPDATE – November 2, 2020

New protocols have been placed by the MHHS and CDC.

When you visit the winery you will be asked to provide your contact information.  Name and phone number is required.  This is the latest step to work toward reducing the number of cases of COVID-19.

As with the other protocols, we thank you for your kind cooperation.

Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail wineries have a strong showing at the recent Finger Lakes Wine Competition.

We wish to congratulate 12 Corners Vineyard and Winery, Cogdal Vineyards/Home of Little Man Winery and Lemon Creek Winery for a total of 14 medals received for their wines.   Check out the list.  Any of them your favorites?   The quality and passion of these generational artisanal wineries are what draw guests to an enjoyable wine tasting experience time after time.  Read more.

Latest News Regarding The Wineries Opening

June 18 2020 –  The wineries were allowed to reopen on June 15.  Please review each wineries website and FB pages for current plans and updates.  Masks are required.

We are pleased to begin to serve you in person again, with the current policies mandated by the State of Michigan and the CDC. We look forward to seeing you.  Become familiar with the policies that are required for your safety.  When and where masks are required,  socially distancing of 6ft, number of people allowed inside the winery and outside, how the wine will be served (flights, modified tastings, glass, bottle, case).  Please check the winery website for specific policy of each winery.

Please be kind and patient as we work together to make your winery experience as pleasant as possible for everyone.   While we understand that adjusting to the issue of wearing masks may not be easy for some, remember we all adjusted to no smoking, no shirt, no shoes, no service policies.   It will take some time, so don’t forget your masks.   Thank you.
